This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with customers, understands technical products, and can help match the right parts, components, or repair solutions to each customer's needs. In this position, you will be working at the front counter, assisting customers with parts, accessories, repair questions, diagnostics, and product recommendations. You will help customers identify the correct items, explain technical details in a clear way, and support the sales process from start to finish. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn technical product information. Experience with automotive, marine, electrical, gauges, instruments, or parts sales is highly preferred. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a professional and helpful manner Help customers identify the correct parts, accessories, components, or repair services Ask the right questions to understand the customer's technical needs Provide basic technical guidance related to maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and product compatibility Explain product features, warranty options, and repair recommendations clearly Process sales transactions using QuickBooks, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Prepare parts and orders for pickup, shipping, or delivery Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain accurate product records Keep the front counter, showroom, and product displays clean and organized Work with technicians and other team members to help customers receive accurate information Support customer follow-ups, special orders, and sales opportunities Preferred Experience Previous experience in technical sales, counter sales, parts sales, dealership, automotive, marine, or repair-related fields is preferred Basic knowledge of automotive, marine, electrical, gauges, instruments, sensors, or similar components is a strong plus Experience using QuickBooks, POS systems, or inventory software is helpful Comfortable reading part numbers, identifying components, and assisting with product selection Strong customer service and communication skills Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to explain technical information in a simple, customer-friendly way Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required Comfortable handling payments, invoices, estimates, and customer orders Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, reliable, and technically minded. You should be comfortable speaking with customers, asking questions, and helping them find the right solution. You do not need to know every product right away, but you should be willing to learn, pay attention to details, and work closely with the team to provide accurate technical sales support. Pay:
