Job Description

Description We are looking for a highly organized Sales Order Processing Specialist to support customer order operations for a manufacturing business in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will oversee the order lifecycle, respond to customer needs, and work closely with internal partners to keep transactions moving accurately and on time. This position is ideal for someone who brings strong attention to detail, a service-driven mindset, and the ability to solve issues efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Enter and process wholesale and retail sales orders with accuracy while ensuring all required information is complete.
  • Oversee customer orders from initial receipt through shipment and final fulfillment, keeping records current throughout the process.
  • Research and resolve order variances, shipping concerns, and system-related issues to minimize delays and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with online portal usage, including order placement, updates, and general account support.
  • Partner with sales, fulfillment, and customer service teams to maintain a steady and efficient flow of orders.
  • Update customer account details in internal systems and maintain accurate data for ongoing order management.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding order progress, inventory availability, and resolution of service issues.
  • Provide attentive support to small and mid-sized accounts, helping build strong and dependable customer relationships.
  • Contribute to operational improvement efforts and take on additional order management or customer support tasks as business needs evolve. Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in order processing, customer service, sales support, or account coordination.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP or order management platforms such as NetSuite or comparable systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall computer proficiency for managing data and transactions accurately.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and apply practical solutions.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, wholesale, retail, distribution, or consumer products operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with purchasing, purchase orders, order entry, merchant services, or work order processes is a plus.
