SVP/MARKET LENDING LEADER
Position Summary:
The SVP/Market Lending Leader is responsible for managing the sales and business development of commercial and residential loans within the market of South Florida as well as referrals for consumer loans and treasury management. This includes coordinating their own daily business selling efforts to cover prospects and customers within the market.
Position Responsibilities:
Development of lending sales and marketing plans Target market growth within South Florida market Increase market share in commercial, residential, and consumer loans Refer business for retail/deposits and to treasury management services Assist loan originators in structuring loans properly and train originators in interview methods and sales skills Use selling skills and business knowledge to understand the customer's needs and guide them appropriately toward FSB bank solutions Outside business development calls and appointments on a consistent basis Achieve weekly assigned goals Participate in Realtor and community activities for the purpose of increasing the Bank's visibility and to seek out new business opportunities Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager
Competencies:
Excellent management skills A proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets and closed sales Ability to recognize customer's needs and matching them to the Bank's products Effective communication skills with all levels of customers, potential customers, peers and management Strong customer service, prioritization, and organizational skills Knowledge of all of the Bank's loan and deposit products Knowledge of the Bank's policies and procedures High commitment to community involvement and volunteerism
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or substantial related field experience 8 years' previous commercial and residential lending experience
Essential Job Functions:
Essential job functions include the employee occupying this position must have a valid driver's license and have their own transportation to service all of the Bank's Corporate Services clients. The employee will be frequently lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching 20 percent of the time. The employee will be required to organize and coordinate schedules and work orders for multiple locations.
