Job Description

Vaco is currently hiring for a Logistics Carrier Sales Representative opportunity. It is full time, regular hours, onsite, Monday- Friday .
Location:
South Jacksonville, FL Pay:
$26.44-31.25/hr plus bonus/commission Carrier Sales- is responsible for building carrier relationships and securing transportation capacity for freight shipments. Source and develop relationships with trucking companies and carriers Negotiate freight rates with carriers to maximize profitability Cover customer freight by finding available trucks and capacity Track and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams regarding load status Resolve service issues, delays, and delivery problems quickly Maintain accurate load details and carrier information in TMS systems Build a reliable carrier network for ongoing freight needs Coordinate appointment scheduling and transit updates Monitor market trends and lane pricing Provide excellent customer service to both carriers and customers Manage multiple shipments and prioritize urgent loads Develop long-term partnerships with high-performing carriers Meet daily and monthly sales or margin goals Handle load entry, documentation, and tracking updates Work closely with customer sales representatives and operations teams Identify new carrier opportunities through cold calling and prospecting
