Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, the Inside Sales Consultant will be responsible for developing rapport with prospective customers. They will effectively communicate with the customer to define needs and present products and service to address the customer s needs and requirements. A top sales consultant will be an active listener, successfully, close a conversation toward a sale and provide exceptional customer service.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
Speak with customers on the phone within a call center performing such duties/ actions: Read from a prepared script/ guide to present the products/ service of the company. Understanding customer s needs and identifying sales opportunities. Asking questions of the customer to ensure proper match of product and services to meet the wants of the customer. Answering potential customer s questions and providing additional information as needed. Keeping up with products and services to meet customer requirements. Present solutions to meet the needs or desires of the customer. Explaining features of products and services. Upselling products and services. Attain sales or confirm meetings for field personnel. Outbound calling to existing customers Utilize software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately. Respond efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued. Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing upset customers, as needed. Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing consistent excellent customer service levels. Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward the customer always. Communicate with the customer through various channels. Communicate and coordinate with colleagues, as necessary. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support. Take part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position. Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace. Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.
Competencies:
Able to perform in a fast pace work environment. Have good time management and customer service skills. Microsoft product familiarity, and the ability to learn and work within other software programs. Effective communication skills, via oral. Written, and report mediums. Ability to stay calm and focused. Meet or exceed sales goals. Entrepreneurial spirit and familiar with call center technology Ability to manage multiple items in a concurrent timeframe.
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years experience of success in an inside sales role. Home product sales experience a plus, especially plumbing/ Air quality items. Experience in coordinating actions and responses between departments and organizations. High school diploma or equivalent required. Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered. Ability to communicate via text, video or other two-way communications. Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of all office equipment. Eligible to legally work in the United States. Be at least 18 years of age. Applicable military experience will be considered. Ability to speak Spanish, preferred. Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
