The Outside Sales Representative will have the knowledge and skills required to market and sell to clients in agricultural/phosphate, chemical, power plant, pulp and paper, and other heavy industries. The Outside Sales Representative is required to be a technically oriented, organized, highly motivated individual with strong communication skills. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining & developing an existing client base and developing new opportunities. The Outside Sales Representative ability to develop relationships with key decision makers and end users as well as make sales & technical presentations are essential ingredients for success.Responsibilities:
May include, but are not limited to, the following: Generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts. Assess potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs. Identify and establish relationships with key existing customers supporting current business activity as well as creating new sales opportunities. Consistently prospecting to identify new contacts/opportunities, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting and proactive engagement of sales region. Visit customers on behalf of USA DeBusk's services in the assigned territory for the specific purpose of driving incremental growth. Make joint sales calls with management, specialty services SMEs, and branch management. Engage in technical discussions with customers, perform product demonstrations and presentations that differentiate key selling advantages to meet customers' needs to support and build sales. Research and develop efficient methods to present solutions showing potential customers the cost benefit of working with USA DeBusk. Work closely with inside staff, management and SME's learning the details of USA DeBusk's service lines, systems, processes, and tools. Keep management informed of all activity via pipeline management, including opportunities and presentations to clients, communicating customer feedback on future developments, quotes, and booked sales. Maintain a home office to allow for regular two-way communication. (High speed internet and cell phone coverage at your residence is required). Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the industry.Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years outside sales experience calling on heavy industries. Experience growing a territory based on a salary plus commission compensation model Industry knowledge preferred to include previous experience calling on agricultural/phosphate, chemical, power plant, pulp and paper, and other heavy industries. A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record. Able to travel from your home base for sales meetings and customer visits. Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving and presentation skills are a must. Excellent verbal and written skills. Able to travel for multiple days for training and sales initiatives. Mechanical and technical aptitude An innate ability to see customers, visit accounts for maximum reach and influence, solve problems with matching USA DeBusk's offerings. You have a deep belief that if the customer is not doing business with you, they are not getting the best customer service.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Sales or Marketing preferred. Technical sales experience preferred. Physical Requirements to be performed with or without reasonable accommodations : Must be willing and physically capable of travelling overnight up to 50 % as required. Must be willing and physically capable of operating a motor vehicle and sitting for prolonged periods of time while driving to meet business travel requirements. Must be capable of regularly speaking and hearing while utilizing hands to control or manipulate objects. Must be capable of seeing close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be willing and capable of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders. Must be willing and physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be willing and capable of performing computer-based tasks while sitting or standing at a computer-based workstation for prolonged periods of time.
