We provide safe, reliable, and custom-engineered solutions to customers across the United States and internationally. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a highly consultative, project-based sales position that requires much more than traditional selling. Our products are custom-engineered solutions, and the ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex challenges and managing projects from initial inquiry through final order. This role involves working closely with customers, architects, contractors, engineers, and facility owners to determine the best VRC solution for each application. The Territory Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process and collaborates extensively with our engineering and operations teams to develop safe, code-compliant, and effective solutions. Candidates with construction, industrial equipment, material handling, or project management experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with end users, contractors, architects, engineers, and dealers within assigned territories. Manage multiple project-based sales opportunities simultaneously from initial inquiry through order placement. Work directly with customers to understand building requirements, applications, and operational needs to recommend the appropriate VRC solution. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop layouts, specifications, and customized solutions. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain regular communication throughout the quoting and sales process. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer accounts. Conduct outbound calls and follow-up activities to generate leads and increase customer engagement. Manage customer expectations and ensure timely responses to inquiries and project requests. Participate in weekly sales meetings and strategic planning sessions. Utilize CRM tools to manage opportunities, track activity, and maintain accurate customer records. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and changes in applicable codes and standards. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects move efficiently through quoting and order stages. Travel periodically within assigned territories to visit customers and develop relationships. QualificationsRequired Minimum of 4 years of verifiable sales experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate solutions effectively. Preferred Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, construction, manufacturing, or related industries. Knowledge of construction drawings, building layouts, and project coordination. Experience working with contractors, engineers, architects, or industrial customers. Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Previous experience managing corporate or national accounts.
