About Us:
We are a growing [Health & Beauty, Perfume] seller on Whatnot, and we're looking for a passionate and motivated individual to help take our live-streamed sales to the next level! If you're an enthusiastic communicator, skilled in online sales, and love building a community around unique products, we'd love to have you join our team.
Position Overview:
As our Whatnot Salesperson & Community Manager, you'll play a key role in driving sales and building a loyal customer base during our live-streaming events. Your main responsibilities will include engaging with the audience, creating excitement around our products, and ensuring a smooth, fun, and interactive experience for our viewers.
Responsibilities:
Live Stream Sales & Engagement:
Actively engage with viewers during live streams, encouraging bidding, answering product-related questions, and promoting new items.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with buyers, responding to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Promotion & Hype Building:
Create excitement around upcoming drops, exclusive products, and live stream events across social media and within the Whatnot community.
Community Growth:
Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere in the chat, encouraging repeat buyers and creating a loyal fan base.
Pre-Stream Preparation:
Assist in promoting and preparing for live streams, including product curation, creating hype on social media, and ensuring everything is set up for a seamless experience.
Post-Sale Follow-Up:
Thank customers, handle any issues or questions after a sale, and encourage feedback to improve future streams.
What We're Looking For:
Strong Communication Skills:
You're comfortable speaking to an online audience and can engage viewers in a fun, friendly, and informative way.
Sales Experience:
Previous sales or auction experience, especially in an online environment, is a huge plus.
Community-Oriented Mindset:
You're not just here to make sales; you're here to build a lasting relationship with our community of buyers.
Tech-Savvy & Platform Knowledge:
Familiarity with Whatnot or other live streaming/sales platforms is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
Enthusiasm & Energy:
You're excited about the products we sell and are eager to share that excitement with others.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot technical issues, and handle customer inquiries with ease.
Creative Promotion:
Comfortable creating content for social media or helping to strategize promotional efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in live streaming, either on Whatnot or another platform (Twitch, YouTube, etc.). Previous experience in sales or customer service in a live event or online auction setting. Passion for [insert your niche, e.g., comics, collectibles, vintage items, etc.].
