Job Description About VendorSmart:
VendorSmart is modernizing how property management companies source, vet, and manage vendors across the HOA industry. Our platform helps management companies identify top-performing vendors while streamlining bidding, compliance, and vendor oversight across their portfolios. VendorSmart currently partners with 200+ property management companies across 42 states, representing over 40,000 communities, and billions in annual vendor spend. Role:
VendorSmart is looking for highly driven, relationship-oriented sales professionals to help scale a rapidly growing initiative focused on building strategic partnerships between management companies and vendors. This is not a traditional inside sales role. Instead of cold calling all day, you'll travel to management company offices and sit alongside management company executives to host high-level meetings with vendors actively looking to deepen their relationships within the portfolio. These meetings are consultative, relationship-driven, and positioned as strategic partnership opportunities, not transactional sales calls. You'll work directly with vendors across all industries to help them understand how VendorSmart can help them gain visibility, build stronger relationships with Community Managers, and grow their footprint within property management portfolios. This is a rare opportunity to join a company that is actively redefining how vendor partnerships are built in a multi-billion-dollar industry. What You'll Do Travel to property management company offices across the country for vendor partnership meetings Lead and participate in executive-level discussions alongside management company leadership Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers in the vendor community Conduct discovery conversations to understand vendor growth goals and challenges Present VendorSmart's value proposition in a consultative, relationship-first manner Manage pipeline activity and follow-up inside our HubSpot CRM Help refine and improve sales strategies, presentations, and processes as the program scales Represent VendorSmart professionally at meetings, events, and industry functions Who You Are Highly confident communicator with strong executive presence Ability to confidently engage and build credibility with C-level leadership, business owners, and senior decision-makers Naturally relationship-oriented and comfortable in face-to-face selling environments Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments Able to command a room while still being personable and consultative Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up habits Comfortable with travel and flexible schedules Motivated by high earnings potential and performance-based compensation Excited about helping build something new and scalable Requirements Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of face-to-face consultative sales experience Property management/HOA industry experience is a major plus Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot preferred Elite-level verbal and written communication skills Ability to travel for 2-3 day stretches, 30%-50% of the time Why This Role Is Different Most sales roles are repetitive.
