Boaters Exchange is a leader in the marine industry with two locations in Central Florida and the exclusive boat dealer for Everglades Boats, Hewes/Maverick/Pathfinder/Cobia fishing boats, Yamaha jet boats, and Bennington pontoon boats. We offer a wide range of marine products at each of our two dealerships.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to sell the finest boat brands in the industry at our Rockledge, Florida location. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, possess a friendly personality and be passionate about the boating lifestyle. Knowledge of boats, fishing, boat towing and boat handling is a plus. Candidate must be honest, reliable, detail oriented, and able to take direction. Sales experience of 4 years is required and candidate must possess the ability to learn new systems and processes. Strong computer and math skills are a must.
Essential Duties:
  • Maximizing profit margins on all boat sales.
  • Manage leads with impeccable follow up
  • Meet Customer Satisfaction Index and Profitability Objectives
  • Meet assigned sales and productivity goals
  • Ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Four years of experience in the Marine Industry with Boat Sales and/or Sales Management experience a plus Boat enthusiast with a friendly and positive disposition Excellent communication skills, well-spoken, well-organized, with excellent customer relations skills Excellent high-ticket negotiation and closing skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a sales team Knowledge of F&I offerings and process and able to work all deals Ability and willingness to learn quickly Track record of proven performance is required Strong work ethic and ability to work Saturday Professional appearance Valid Driver License Benefits Benefits include medical, dental, vison and supplemental insurance plus 401(k) with company match.
