First Shift,Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri The Hotel Zamora, a beautiful boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager. With stunning views overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway and Gulf of Mexico, the Hotel Zamora provides a luxurious retreat for its guests. Besides relaxing in the beautifully appointed guest rooms, our guests experience intuitive service in our Rooftop Lounge, Sidewalk Restaurant, Private Dining, and Meeting/Banquet space. The Hotel Zamora is under new ownership and management with Sherman Associates, an accomplished and proven real estate development and management company. The Sales Coordinator supports the sales & marketing operations with the goal of maximizing rates and over-all revenues. Partners with hotel management to lead the sales & marketing operations and relationships with the goal of maximizing negotiated group and transient rate in conjunction with overall revenue; works closely with accounting as applicable to any sales related accounting measures; provides outstanding customer service on behalf of the property and its ownership. This is a full-time onsite role at The Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach, Florida - M-F from 8 am - 5 pm. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists sales team to identify new contacts, develops sales leads, and responds to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue Fully understands the hotel amenities, packages, and promotions Generates and develops sales leads and contacts potential clients to build business relationships Produces proposals, event orders, and reservation confirmations for all clients Produces accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the GM, DOSM and other managers Records all appointments, follow-up meetings, and effectively tracks business leads Regularly monitors client satisfaction and resolves any outstanding issues to foster relationships and secure future business Arranges and completes site visits and hotel tours Champions, networks, and prospects to raise awareness of the brand Acts as a business partner, not a supplier to key accounts. Talks with key accounts about their business challenges. Listens and partners to find ways for the hotel or brand to solve client problems Is an expert in the market and understands how to differentiate the brand in the market Completes other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience Minimum 1 years of experience in sales or an equivalent number of years of education and sales experience Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; Ability to communicate effectively with community partners, vendors, external parties, and across internal divisions Shares a passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines Exposed to ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment found in a typical office environment; quiet to moderate noise level PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit or stand at a desk or other areas of the property throughout the day based on business needs Must have the ability to move around freely throughout the property and office, and necessity varies from day to day Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel in a timely manner Must be able to lift up to 25-30 lbs. occasionally Requires grasping, writing, sitting or standing, moving about freely, repetitive motions, bending, and communicating effectively ADDITIONAL SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
