We produce weddings, corporate events, private parties, brand activations, and large-scale hospitality experiences across the Greater Tampa Bay area. Our team moves fast, works hard, and is committed to delivering events people actually remember. This is not a slow or passive sales role. This is a performance-driven position where you will be expected to manage a pipeline, follow up consistently, and convert opportunities into booked events while maintaining a high standard of client experience. Why This Role Is Exciting This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk role. You'll be: Touring venues Meeting clients Networking across the Tampa Bay market Building relationships with planners and partners Collaborating with culinary and operations teams Helping bring events to life from concept through booking If you're someone who enjoys people, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to build a career in hospitality or sales, this is an opportunity to get hands-on experience with a rapidly growing company. What You'll Do Generate new business opportunities throughout the Tampa Bay area Build relationships with corporate clients, venues, planners, and partners Respond to inbound leads and guide clients through the booking process Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with prospects Manage proposals, pipeline, and client communication through our CRM Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to ensure a smooth handoff of booked events Represent SaltBlock at networking events, tours, and community functions How Success Is Measured Revenue performance vs assigned targets Conversion of leads into booked events Consistency and quality of follow-up Organization and accuracy within CRM Overall professionalism and client experience What We're Looking For Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter mentality with a strong work ethic Coachable, motivated, and eager to grow professionally Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Organized and able to manage multiple clients and timelines Willingness to learn structured sales processes and follow them consistently Hospitality, catering, event, or sales experience is preferred — but attitude and discipline matter most Ability to travel locally throughout the Tampa Bay area Compensation & Growth Base salary starting at $50,000 Performance-based bonus tied to revenue targets, with clear upside for strong performance Opportunity for increased earnings as performance grows Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits after 90 days PTO accrual after 90 days Clear path for growth within a rapidly expanding company Why SaltBlock?
