[10-12] weeks, flexible around class schedules Salary / compensation: Stipend + $15 hourly rate for time spent during a "vendor day" + new-account performance bonuses / commission + mileage reimbursed About the role Silver Algaedyn is a silver-based pool algaecide made by D. F. Goldsmith Chemical & Metal Corp. (Evanston, IL). It does the same job as the copper-based products the pool industry has used for decades, but with about 90% less metal — so it won't stain pool surfaces and won't interfere with chlorine or pH. We're testing a feet-on-the-street sales push in the Tampa Bay market this summer, and we're hiring college students who want real, resume-building B2B sales experience. You'll be the face of the brand at pool-supply distributor branches, getting our product in front of professional pool technicians and capturing leads for our sales team. This is hands-on field marketing — not a desk internship. What you'll do Plan and execute "vendor days" at pool-supply distributor locations around Tampa Bay Arrive early (around 6:30-7:00 a.m.) to catch route technicians as they load up, demo the product, hand out samples and deliver a short, scripted pitch Build friendly relationships with branch managers and counter staff Provide simple field feedback on what's landing and what objections you're hearing What we're looking for Currently enrolled college student — marketing, business, sales, communications, or any major with a genuine interest in sales Comfortable starting conversations with strangers; outgoing and persistent without being pushy A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance (you'll be driving to branches around the region) Available for early-morning shifts on weekdays Self-starter who can work independently in the field No pool-industry experience required — we provide a training session, scripts, and all materials Compensation & perks Monthly stipend $15 / Hour for time spent at each "vendor day" Performance bonuses new accounts opened + bottles sold Mileage reimbursement Direct, real-world B2B field-sales experience and a reference from our team
