Job Description:
Manages targeted physicians and practices to develop and retain referrals. Identifies, initiates, and maintains contact with targeted referral sources. Develops and maintains relationships with physicians in the assigned territory to present services and foster business relationships. Makes face-to-face contacts and presentations to current referring physicians and potential prospects. Conducts proactive fieldwork with targeted physicians and their office staff to identify needs and match them with organizational offerings. Develops and coordinates team presentations with service line managers and specialists for referring physicians. Documents physician visits, contacts, issue resolutions, and market intelligence in the customer relations management software. Other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Communications, Advertising, or Healthcare Administration [Preferred]
  • 2+ position-related experience [Required]
  • Driver's License (DL) [Required] Quarterly incentive eligible

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, including verbal, written, and public speaking (platform skills) [Required]
  • Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships and loyalty to the hospital as well as develop new referral sources [Required]
  • Demonstrate initiative, poise, confidence, and willingness to accept challenges [Required]
  • Ability to travel between hospital and physician offices [Required]
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position [Required]
  • Must possess good time management skills and be customer and results-oriented [Required]
  • Familiarity with hospital operations, language, and roles [Required]
Education:
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]
  • Master's [Preferred]

  • 2+ position-related experience [Required]
  • 1+ training or teaching experience [Preferred]
