Position Overview The Project Manager / Contractor Sales Representative plays a key role in driving revenue and managing Division 8 projects from initial quote through completion. This position blends sales, project coordination, and customer service—working closely with contractors to deliver accurate pricing, reliable timelines, and exceptional support. This role is ideal for someone who understands construction workflows, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth Generate new business through contractor outreach, referrals, and company-provided leads Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and end users Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets Actively pursue bid opportunities and follow up to close awarded projects Identify opportunities to increase revenue through product recommendations and value-added solutions Estimating & Quoting Prepare accurate, detailed quotes based on project plans and specifications Review construction documents to ensure proper scope, product selection, and code compliance Communicate clearly with customers to gather missing details when needed Collaborate with internal team members or outside sales support when required Project Management Manage awarded projects from quote approval through order fulfillment and closeout Place orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery Communicate with logistics and warehouse teams regarding material needs and scheduling Monitor project timelines and proactively address delays or issues Support installation coordination when applicable Customer Experience Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and projects Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide solutions with a high level of professionalism Resolve issues efficiently to maintain strong customer satisfaction and trust Maintain a positive, service-oriented approach that reflects Door Resources' reputation Operations & Internal Coordination Maintain accurate records of leads, quotes, orders, and project details using company systems Follow Door Resources sales processes, communication standards, and procedures Coordinate with estimating, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth project execution Participate in team meetings, product training, and ongoing development Additional Responsibilities Travel within the assigned territory to meet contractors and visit job sites as needed Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Continuously develop product knowledge in Division 8 doors, frames, and hardware Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in Division 8 (doors, frames, and hardware) industry required Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset Proficiency with estimating systems, CRM tools, and general computer applications Compensation $60,000-$80,000 Annual Base salary based on experience, qualifications, and Division 8 industry knowledge In addition to salary, this position is eligible for commission on all qualified sales. Typical annual commission earnings range from $20,000 to $80,000+, in addition to base salary. Top performers have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings through sales growth, customer development, and account management. The total compensation package will be discussed during the interview process.
