Job Description

This is not a retail sales position and it is not a cold-calling role. You will meet with qualified homeowners who have requested information about our services. Your role is to understand their goals, educate them on available options, develop project concepts, prepare proposals, and guide them through the decision-making process. The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing projects ranging from $30,000 to $300,000+, can build trust quickly, and understands how to communicate value rather than simply compete on price. Responsibilities Respond to company-generated leads Conduct initial phone consultations Perform onsite consultations and measurements Discuss project goals, budgets, and timelines Develop project scopes and concepts Prepare estimates and proposals Follow up with prospects Close contracts Maintain accurate CRM records Coordinate project handoff to operations Represent Hinton Construction professionally at all times Attend local networking functions Qualifications Required Valid driver's license Strong communication and people skills Ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously Comfortable working independently Basic computer skills Professional appearance and demeanor Construction or Remodeling sales experience Preferred Deck or outdoor living experience Roofing sales experience Window and door sales experience Home improvement sales experience Estimating experience Project management experience Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who: Enjoys meeting homeowners Is confident discussing large projects and budgets Can explain technical concepts in simple terms Understands that trust closes more sales than pressure Is organized and detail-oriented Wants to build a long-term career with a growing company Takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience What Success Looks LikeFirst 90 Days Learn company systems and processes Learn our products and services Complete ride-alongs and training Begin running appointments independently Close first projects First Year Generate $1.25M-$2.0M in sales Maintain strong customer satisfaction Consistently follow up on leads Become a trusted advisor to homeowners Why Join Hinton Construction?
