Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative with a background in construction, lumber, building materials, fencing, decking, or related industries . This position is responsible for assisting walk-in customers, contractors, builders, and wholesale accounts while providing outstanding service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving customer problems, and helping customers find the right materials for their projects. Responsibilities Assist retail and wholesale customers with product selection and order processing Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and repeat customers Prepare quotes, estimates, and sales orders Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person Coordinate with yard and delivery teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment Maintain product knowledge on lumber, siding, decking, fencing, and related building materials Follow up on quotes and opportunities to help grow sales Work collaboratively with the sales team to provide excellent customer service Qualifications Required 2+ years of sales or customer service experience in: Lumber Building materials Construction Decking Fencing Roofing Hardware or related industries Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and experience with sales/order entry systems Ability to read material lists, estimates, and construction-related documents Preferred Existing relationships within the Atlanta construction community Knowledge of cedar, cypress, pressure-treated lumber, decking, or siding products Experience working with contractors, builders, or wholesale accounts Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Stable, employee-focused company culture Monday-Friday schedule (No weekends) Schedule Monday
