POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable growth in an assigned territory by expanding fuel, lubricant, and propane sales. This role requires daily engagement with customers and prospects, strong organization, and a high level of self‑motivation. The representative will develop new business, strengthen existing customer relationships, and maintain a solid understanding of industry products and customer needs. As a primary ambassador of Heritage Petroleum, this position communicates company products, programs, and service capabilities with professionalism and clarity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve sales objectives — Meet or exceed assigned sales and profit targets. Territory planning — Develop and execute a structured call schedule for all accounts and prospects. CRM utilization — Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, opportunities, and customer interactions. Training & meetings — Participate in sales meetings, product training, and ongoing development activities. Customer relationship development — Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers and prospects. Territory management — Organize, prioritize, and manage daily activities to maximize efficiency and results. Policy implementation — Support and execute company initiatives, programs, and policies. Supplier collaboration — Work closely with supplier representatives to support customer needs and product growth. Technical support — Provide accurate product and application information to customers and prospects. Credit support — Assist with credit and collections activities as needed. Competitive intelligence — Gather, document, and communicate competitive insights. Ongoing education — Maintain and grow product knowledge and general sales skills. Reporting — Submit required reports, documentation, and updates in a timely manner. Team collaboration — Work cooperatively with all company personnel to support shared goals. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferred. Proven success in B2B sales with demonstrated ability to close deals. Experience in industrial, automotive, commercial, mining, or construction industries preferred. Intermediate PC skills, including proficiency with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other business software. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT
