Job Description

Pioneer is hiring multiple Seed & Agronomy Sales Associates across Iowa to join local sales agencies serving growers in every corner of the state. Whether you're in Northwest, North Central, Northeast, Western, Central, Eastern, Southwest, South Central, or Southeast Iowa — we want to hear from you. Qualified candidates will be matched with the Pioneer sales agency closest to their home territory. In this hands-on role, you'll partner with local growers to deliver expert agronomic recommendations, sell and service Pioneer seed, crop protection, and precision ag solutions — and play a key role in daily warehouse operations. You'll work an established book of business while having the freedom to grow new accounts in your community. Why this role? Many of Pioneer's top Independent Sales Representatives started right here. Key Responsibilities Build and grow customer relationships through agronomic consultation and Pioneer seed placement Sell, deliver, and service seed, crop protection, and precision ag products Manage warehouse operations: inventory, seed treatment, loading, and equipment maintenance Host customer events, scout fields, and support growers through planting and harvest Identify new business and expand the Pioneer brand in your territory Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned Iowa territory Ability to operate ag equipment (tractor, wheel-loader, forklift, spreader) Comfortable with physical warehouse work and handling fertilizer/crop protection products Strong communication and customer service skills Proficient with email, Excel, and CRM tools Preferred Qualifications Sales experience in agriculture or agronomy Agronomic knowledge and ability to make crop recommendations Familiarity with precision ag platforms Entrepreneurial mindset (a plus for those interested in future Independent Sales Rep opportunities) Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission possible Benefits packages offered by local Pioneer sales agencies (vary by location) Ongoing Pioneer-led training, agronomic education, and career development Potential growth opportunities into Independent Sales Representative roles for top performers How to Apply Submit your application through Indeed today.
