In this position, you'll assist our Outside Sales Representatives by managing customer accounts and orders, while also providing expert advice and assistance to customers at the contractor counter. Your contributions will help drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold the positive reputation of Lake Lumber Co.

Key Responsibilities Customer Assistance:

Help customers locate and purchase building materials, offering product recommendations and expert advice.

Support Sales Team:

Assist outside sales representatives with customer accounts, resources, and order management.

Order Management:

Create purchase orders and invoices for stock and special-order products, and follow up on open orders to ensure timely completion.

Logistics Coordination:

Schedule deliveries and credit pick-ups to meet customer needs.

Customer Service:

Respond to customer inquiries, resolve product-related issues, and ensure satisfaction.

Environment Maintenance:

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment.

Product Knowledge:

Develop and maintain general knowledge of retail products and categories.

Communication:

Use strong interpersonal skills to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions.

What We're Looking For Required Skills:

Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with purchase orders and invoicing processes. Proficiency in basic computer applications.
