Job Description

We're adding an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the front‑line hub between customers, Outside Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Operations. You'll qualify inquiries, scope applications, prepare quotes, convert orders, and keep every opportunity clean and accurate in our CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (M2M) — so projects move fast and customers feel supported end‑to‑end.
Summary:
Processes customer requests and orders for material, products and services. Assure the communication and resolution of customer requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must be highly detail‑oriented and process‑driven, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliable execution in every task you manage. Analyze cost, quantity and other nomenclature on order requests from customers Receive and respond to Requests for Quotes from customers. Follow up on Quotes as needed and identified in Quote follow up Process Account Management of assigned accounts. May require travel to customer site. Create Sales Orders and associated acknowledgements Expedite internally to assure shipment of customer orders Routes orders to departments for filling Continually looks for additional sales opportunities within assigned accounts. Initiates and manages customer contract review process (customer requirements). Receives customer concerns and initiates any internal action that may be required. Initiates and provides all Return Material Authorizations to customers. Confers with shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to provide proof of delivery requests for customers. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience An Associate degree with 2-3 years of experience in inside sales or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with developing new sales accounts and relationship building. Commission Commission pay available Language Skills Ability to read and interpret technical documents—including drawings, manuals, and specifications is a plus—while producing clear, accurate reports and customer‑focused correspondence, and communicating effectively with both customers and internal team members. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram from. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer/System Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Salesforce PEM Internal systems PEM QMS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Outlook/email Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current driver's licenses 1st Shift 8am-4pm
