Job Description
This Is Not a Marketing Job This is a community-building role with a scorecard. Vero Health Center is on a mission to make the Des Moines business community healthier, more energized, and more resilient. We do that by meeting people where they already gather. Workplaces. Restaurants. Chambers. Community groups. Lunch tables. Health talks are the engine. This role builds the engine. We're looking for someone who wants to launch, grow, and own a program that could become one of Iowa's most powerful community health platforms. Right now, this program has momentum. What it doesn't have yet is a single owner. That's where you come in. This is a role for a connector, builder, and community catalyst. The Mission You'll Own Your mission is simple to say and hard to pull off: Help Vero reach two health talks per day across the Des Moines metro.
That means:
Activating businesses and organizations Turning interest into scheduled health talks Making health education a normal, welcomed part of the local business culture When this works, it compounds. When it compounds, the city gets healthier and so does the clinic. You will be the person who makes that happen. What You'll Actually Be Doing This role lives mostly outside the building. You'll spend your time: Building relationships with local businesses, restaurants, and organizations On the phone: calling to schedule, following up to schedule, confirmations to maximize show up rate, ordering food for talks Coordinating and scheduling on-site health talks Activating chamber memberships and business groups across the metro Being the face and voice of Vero in the community Managing conversations, follow-up, and scheduling through HighLevel Eventually, presenting health talks yourself once trained and tested Supporting up to 30 screening events (approx. 60 days per year) when neededNote:
Attendance at the Iowa State Fair is mandatory and is in addition to the expectation above. You will work closely with field marketing agents and the clinic team, but this is your program to grow and protect.ABOUT VERO HEALTH CENTER
