Responsibilities Engage with potential customers through outside sales efforts, including in-home presentations and community events, to generate leads and build rapport. Conduct compelling product demonstrations that highlight the key features and benefits of Vivint's smart home security and automation systems. Develop new business opportunities by identifying customer needs and presenting tailored smart home solutions. Manage and grow your assigned territory by maintaining strong customer relationships, providing ongoing support, and upselling additional products. Close sales confidently while delivering an excellent customer experience. Collaborate with management on lead generation strategies and territory expansion initiatives. Participate in our Management Training Program and ride-alongs with a vetted top performer before going solo in your territory. Qualifications Self-motivated with a strong desire to earn and succeed in outside sales. Comfortable conducting in-home sales presentations and product demonstrations. Excellent communication and people skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Smartphone and basic computer skills. Previous sales experience is preferred but not required — we provide full training. Must be authorized to work in the United States as a 1099 Independent Contractor. Must be able to pass a criminal background check Compensation & Schedule $60,000•$130,000+ first-year earning potential Average commission: $200•$500 per closed deal Average reps close 3 deals per day $500 Sign-On Bonus paid after 180 days
