  • Full-time Experienced Sales Representative Established wholesale distribution company seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team.
Based in the Chicago area and operating since the 1960s, we specialize in the wholesale distribution of general merchandise to off-price regional and national retail chains. We offer a fast-paced environment with an ever-changing product mix and exciting growth opportunities. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and working with a dynamic inventory across multiple product categories. Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with existing retail buyers, both domestic and international Identify and develop new business opportunities with discount and off-price retailers Present and sell merchandise across a variety of general merchandise categories Travel extensively to customer locations and industry trade shows Maintain strong communication with customers regarding inventory opportunities, pricing, and availability Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfillment Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience working with discount retail stores or wholesale distribution Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts Ability and willingness to travel extensively Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus generous commission potential Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Long-term career growth opportunity with an established industry leader
