This position combines both inside and outside sales responsibilities and is responsible for managing customer relationships from initial inquiry through final payment. The Sales Representative will respond to inbound leads, conduct in-home and onsite consultations, prepare estimates, follow up on opportunities, close sales, collect deposits and balances due, and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and driven by both customer satisfaction and achieving sales goals. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Management Respond promptly to inbound leads generated through company marketing efforts. Contact, qualify, and nurture prospective customers. Conduct follow-up calls, emails, and text communications with prospects. Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities and sales activities. Re-engage previous prospects and dormant opportunities. Utilize company CRM software to document customer interactions and sales activity. Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics. Outside Sales & Consultations Conduct in-home and onsite sales appointments with residential and commercial customers. Assess customer needs and gather project information. Measure and evaluate project requirements. Present products, services, and solutions in a professional manner. Prepare and deliver estimates and proposals. Answer customer questions and address objections. Close sales and secure signed agreements. Customer Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer journey. Build trust and long-term relationships with customers. Ensure customers receive timely communication and updates. Assist customers with financing options and payment methods when applicable. Coordinate with operations and scheduling teams to support successful project execution. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism. Collections & Payment Management Collect customer deposits and final payments in accordance with company policies. Monitor outstanding customer balances. Follow up professionally on unpaid invoices and past-due balances. Assist customers with payment-related questions and concerns. Document collection efforts and payment communications within the CRM system. Work with management to minimize accounts receivable aging and improve cash flow. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within NetSuite CRM. Prepare estimates, proposals, contracts, and sales documentation. Track and report sales activities and pipeline performance. Assist with lead tracking and sales reporting. Ensure all customer information is accurate and up to date. Support office operations and sales-related administrative tasks as needed. Business Development & Community Engagement Build relationships with referral partners and local businesses. Participate in networking and community events when appropriate. Generate referrals from existing customers. Promote company brands in a professional and positive manner. QualificationsRequired Minimum 2 years of sales experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with computers, mobile technology, and CRM software. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Professional appearance and demeanor. Preferred Home improvement, construction, or home services sales experience. In-home sales experience. CRM experience, preferably NetSuite. Bilingual English and Spanish. Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. What Success Looks Like Successful candidates will: Respond quickly to new leads.
