We are always searching for ambitious, hard-working individuals, particularly those with fire protection experience and credentials. The right people for Fox Valley Fire & Safety combine an entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork skills with a commitment to outstanding customer service. Our Fire Protection Sales Representatives are critical to the success of the company. They support company sales initiatives through the knowledge they contribute to improve the safety and well-being of the community.
Job Responsibilities:
Cultivates responsibility for generating sales volume higher than quota at acceptable gross margins Establishes and maintains contact with existing and new customers by proactively providing exceptional customer service Creates and provides estimates and quotes for Fire Alarm installation and service pricing Negotiates details of contracts and payments Prepares sales contracts and order forms Possesses the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with customers & office personnel via phone, email and face-to-face Meets time-bound goals, provides regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders Maintains the company's database system with up-to-date customer information to properly service customers in a timely manner Possesses the ability to operate in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Obtains the ability to read and decipher engineered drawings or design-build systems Delivers presentations of company products to new and existing customers
Job Qualifications:
Strong desire for achievement and success - goal-oriented Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Very high level of self-management and time management Ability to multitask Professional image Integrity that aligns with Fox Valley Fire & Safety's company values Ability and desire to learn about fire protection industry Previous sales experience (preferred, fire protection industry experience considered in lieu of sales) This role offers a base salary in the range of $60,000-$65,000 annually with a commission plan with the opportunity to transition to 100% commission.
