Job Description
Alliance Hose & Rubber seeks a self-motivated, competitive Customer Fulfillment Team Representative to join our thriving organization. The team member will be responsible for fielding customer calls and developing business with current and new customers. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious inside sales professional to work with our established and respected organization. The right person has at least 2 years of inside sales experience, is a professional communicator, and a solution-oriented critical thinker. The ideal candidate would have experience in the field of industrial distribution. This role will have a significant impact on our continued success.
Education & Experience:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field is preferred. 2. 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or technical sales, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments. 3. Knowledge of industrial hose products, fittings, and applications is highly desirable.Key Skills:
1.Product Knowledge:
Familiarity with industrial hoses, materials (e.g., rubber, PVC, metal), and related components (e.g., couplings, fittings). 2.Sales Proficiency:
Strong ability to manage sales cycles, close deals, and achieve or exceed sales targets. 3.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams. 4.Customer Service:
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, handle inquiries, and provide solutions tailored to customer needs. 5.Technical Aptitude:
Ability to understand and explain product specifications, applications, and technical information to customers. 6.CRM & Technology:
Proficiency in CRM software, and other sales tools for managing accounts and tracking performance. 7.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.Responsibilities:
1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other channels, providing accurate information about industrial hose products and services. 2. Develop quotes, proposals, and pricing based on customer requirements and company guidelines. 3. Manage the sales process, including order entry, follow-ups, and ensuring timely delivery. 4. Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers. 5. Collaborate with external sales teams, engineering, and production teams to meet customer expectations. 6. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics in the CRM system. 7. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product advancements.Preferred Qualities:
