We mean that. Most painting companies hire salespeople and hand them a warm pipeline. We're not doing that. We're DFranco Painting & Wallpaper — a faith-based residential painting and wallcovering company serving the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We do exceptional work, we treat people right, and we've built a reputation homeowners talk about. What we need now is a self-motivated sales professional who goes out and builds business — not someone who waits for the phone to ring. If that sentence energized you, keep reading. If it made you nervous, this isn't your role and that's okay. What this role actually looks like day to day: You own your pipeline. That means proactive outreach to contractors, interior designers, realtors, and past customers. It means following up on every open estimate without being reminded. It means showing up to job sites, attending networking events, and building relationships in the community. Your sales process is education-first — no pressure, no gimmicks. We use pre-appointment videos, digital tools, AI-assisted scoping, floor plans, and listing photos to pre-qualify virtually before anyone gets in a car. When it's time to meet, you show up to close a customer who already understands what they're buying.
A typical week looks like:
Phone outreach and relationship-building calls in the morning Virtual pre-qualifications using AI tools and listing data In-home or on-site estimate appointments Consistent follow-up via phone, email, and video Pipeline management inside GoHighLevel and PaintScout Experience with GoHighLevel is a genuine advantage here. We run our business on it and you'll live in it daily. What you'll earn: 10% commission on every closed job. Flat monthly stipend for phone and expenses. Sell $600K → take home $60K+ Sell $800K → take home $80K+ Sell $900K+ → take home $90K+ No cap. No base. No excuses — in either direction. The market is there. The systems are in place. The work is quality people are proud to recommend. What's missing is the right person to go get it.
