At Chadwick's Surfaces, we import a diverse range of natural stone and porcelain hard surfaces. We value the satisfaction of both our customers and employees, emphasizing close collaboration with each customer to bring their vision to life and foster strong relationships. We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated individual to uphold our excellent industry reputation. This role involves building and nurturing relationships by selling our products both business to business (B2B) and directly to consumers.Responsibilities:
Be a proactive self-starter. Be able to think on your feet. This role requires a unique individual that has the ability to grow current accounts, but also come up with strategic initiatives to research new clients and connect with them creating sustainable business relationships. Responsible to excite, engage, and educate current and new customers through calls, emails, texts and outbound generated presentations about Chadwick's and our product offerings. Responsible to work closely with customers, identify key decision makers, and build trusted business relationships with influencers and specifiers such as architects, designers, builders, contractors, and dealers to increase the demand for the specification of our tiles, mosaics, slabs, pavers and more. Being a good listener is key in making sure "the right product(s)" are provided with alternative solutions based on customer needs. Having the ability to quickly assess, then qualify the opportunity. Must be a positive, enthusiastic, and passionate team player with great attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary. Help Chadwick's Surfaces maintain a progressive / consistent sales pipeline and actively contribute to individual and company goals. Work and travel independently throughout the Chicago and Southeast Wisconsin areas a percentage of the time while mostly working in our office, showroom and warehouse. Have the ability to present and carry/provide stone samples as well as maintain architect & designer libraries. Network within the industry to better launch and promote target products and programs.Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sales, customer service, or related field is a plus! Familiarity with CRM platforms Strong leadership qualities, use of common sense, and decision making ability. Being a Team player by looking out for the entire company's best interests during all decision-making processes. Ability to build rapport with clients by listening to their needs and then offering positive recommendations. Be a genuine partner in the sales process.
