Job Description

Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist We are seeking an outgoing, organized, and customer-focused professional to join our team in a full-time Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with customers, supporting sales efforts, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and phone skills, a positive attitude, excellent organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, dealers, distributors, field sales personnel, and internal teams while helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional customer support. Key Responsibilities Provide professional and responsive support to customers, dealers, distributors, field sales personnel, and internal staff via phone, email, and other communication channels. Build and maintain positive relationships by delivering excellent customer service and timely follow-up. Proactively follow up with existing customers who have not purchased recently to help maintain relationships, identify opportunities, and support ongoing sales efforts. Assist in customer outreach initiatives to re-engage inactive accounts and support business growth. Support the sales team with customer communication, order processing, inquiries, and administrative coordination. Process return authorizations, credits/debits, and maintain accurate customer and order records. Process EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions accurately and efficiently. Utilize Syspro software to enter orders, track inventory, and assist with shipment processing. Assist with general office and operational support as needed. Prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all customer interactions and data entry activities. Qualifications Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable communicating professionally over the phone and through email. Confidence in making outbound customer follow-up calls and maintaining customer relationships. Organized, dependable, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support a team environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience with EDI systems and/or Syspro software is preferred but not required. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Problem-solving and customer support mindset Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Computer Skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Adobe Acrobat Knowledge of EDI systems and Syspro experience preferred Education High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience Customer service, sales support, administrative, or related experience preferred. Job Type Full-time, M-F, 8a-5p On-site.
Salary Range:
$45,000-$50,000
