Job Description

Join an established beverage brand with a 30-year track record and a strong presence across Chicagoland. Spend your summer out in the market, meeting business owners, introducing products people already recognize, and helping expand a growing brand. Joe Tea has been selling premium iced teas, lemonades, and kettle-cooked chips since 1996. Our products are already carried throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and we're continuing to expand across independent retail, convenience, grocery, deli, café, and foodservice accounts. We're looking for an energetic seasonal team member to help us increase our visibility and footprint across the market this summer. This is a great opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, or someone looking for a flexible summer role that gets them out from behind a desk. You'll spend your time visiting stores, building relationships, introducing our products, gathering information, and helping identify new opportunities. Opening new accounts is not required, but if you enjoy selling and bring in business, there is additional earning potential. About Joe Tea Founded in 1996, Joe Tea is a family-owned beverage and snack company known for its premium 20 oz glass bottled teas and lemonades made with cane sugar and clean ingredients, along with our retro kettle-cooked potato chips. Our products have built a loyal following over nearly three decades through independent retailers, delis, convenience stores, markets, cafés, and specialty accounts across multiple regions. The Role Your primary responsibility is to help expand our presence throughout Chicagoland by visiting businesses, introducing our products, and helping strengthen our market coverage. This role focuses heavily on face-to-face interaction, relationship-building, and market outreach. You'll help us identify opportunities and increase visibility throughout the territory. Responsibilities Visit retail stores throughout the Chicago area on planned routes Introduce Joe Tea products to store owners and decision-makers Conduct product samplings and brief product presentations Gather information on potential opportunities and customer interest Build relationships with local businesses and represent the brand professionally Track store visits, notes, and activity within our systems Work from company-provided lists while also identifying additional opportunities in the market Assist with account onboarding for any new opportunities generated Help report market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback Many store owners and key decision-makers are most accessible during morning hours, so this role is ideal for someone comfortable starting earlier in the day. Compensation This is a seasonal summer position with flexible scheduling.
Compensation may include:
