24th St, Quincy, IL 62301 Up to $120,000 a year - Full-time Up to $120,000 a year - Full-time Shottenkirk Chevrolet of Quincy is growing, and we are actively hiring motivated Automotive Sales Consultants / Automotive Sales Associates to join our high-performing Chevrolet dealership team in Quincy, Illinois. Whether you are an experienced automotive salesperson or looking to break into automotive sales for the first time, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with one of America's most iconic automotive brands. We are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoy building relationships with customers. Candidates with experience in automotive sales, retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, call centers, wireless sales, or commission-based sales are encouraged to apply. Chevrolet, GM, or automotive sales experience is a plus, but it is not required. We provide paid training, strong leadership support, high showroom traffic, and ongoing professional development to help motivated sales professionals succeed. Compensation & Benefits Earn up to $120,000+ per year Competitive commission and bonus structure Paid automotive sales training Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid vacation and paid time off Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service Career advancement opportunities Chevrolet and GM manufacturer training programs In-house professional development Supportive team-oriented dealership culture Responsibilities Build strong customer relationships and create customers for life Assist customers in selecting the right new or used vehicle based on their needs and budget Deliver professional vehicle presentations, walkarounds, and test drives Become knowledgeable on Chevrolet cars, trucks, SUVs, EVs, trim levels, financing options, lease programs, towing capabilities, safety features, and automotive technology Educate customers on Chevrolet's award-winning lineup, including Silverado, Colorado, Tahoe, Suburban, Traverse, Equinox, Blazer, Trailblazer, and EV models Follow up with customers to generate repeat and referral business Learn and apply proven automotive sales processes and objection-handling techniques Maintain strong communication with sales managers and dealership leadership Achieve monthly sales goals and customer satisfaction targets Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude every day Qualifications Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required Chevrolet, GM, or automotive sales experience is a plus but not required Experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, call centers, wireless sales, or commission sales is a plus Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented mindset Professional appearance and strong work ethic Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening Why Join Shottenkirk Chevrolet of Quincy?
