Position Overview The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying prospective clients, building relationships with decision-makers, and scheduling meetings for our sales team. This is an entry-level sales position designed to develop future Account Executives and sales leaders within our organization. ResponsibilitiesProspecting & Lead Generation Research and identify potential client companies within assigned territories. Identify decision-makers including HR Managers, Operations Managers, Plant Managers, and Executives. Build and maintain prospect lists using CRM and sales tools. Business Development Conduct outbound phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. Introduce AAP Staff's workforce optimization and staffing solutions. Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives. Follow up consistently with prospective clients. Relationship Building Develop professional relationships with prospective customers. Learn client pain points related to hiring, retention, overtime, and workforce management. Position AAP Staff as a trusted workforce partner. CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate prospect and activity records within Salesforce. Track outreach efforts, appointments, and opportunities. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions. Team Collaboration Work closely with recruiters, branch teams, and sales leadership. Participate in sales contests, team initiatives, and performance programs. Contribute to overall company growth goals. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Comfortable speaking with people by phone and in person. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a desire to succeed. Preferred Bachelor's Degree. Customer service experience. Sales, recruiting, or business development experience. Military, athletics, leadership, or competitive background.
