Track sales and business development progress by reviewing business goals, sales results, and market conditions. Support the Business Development Director with reports and updates for executives and senior management in Japan. Assist in preparing and coordinating contracts and agreements with existing and prospective U.S.-based insurance clients and business partners. Prepare and coordinate presentation and promotional materials for prospecting activities. Conduct market and industry research and share findings with the Business Development team. Meet with prospective clients in person or virtually to gather information on current insurance programs and future needs. Support the execution of the sales process, including prospecting, planning, and new business development. Collaborate with internal teams to support cross-selling, upselling, and client retention initiatives. Assist with quality assurance activities, including coordination between sales, account servicing, and carrier partners. Maintain and manage prospect data, sales activities, and related documentation. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospects, colleagues, and business partners. Maintain confidentiality of company and client information. Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications:
2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, and/or marketing in a corporate environment; experience supporting relationship-based sales activities is highly preferred. Advanced-level fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing). Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Ability to obtain and maintain finance industry license after hire; training materials and support will be provided by the company.
