UUSCO has been specializing in the Medium Voltage Electrical Industry for over 20 years. We sell electrical materials and supplies for 2kV and above to customers that are installing for both overhead and underground applications. UUSCO is looking for an outgoing individual with impeccable communication skills to be part of a growth oriented company in a small office environment. The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative is to perform sales and service duties that will meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Essential Position Functions:

Communicate with customers via telephone, e-mail and in person. Provide technical support and pricing as needed to customers to help determine the best solution for the particular application. This may be achieved through the use of vendor catalogs, vendor websites, vendor technical specialists and our internal specialist. Quote contractors, industrials and end users on electrical products that include price and availability. Manage open customer orders, take appropriate actions and communicate appropriately to satisfy the customer needs. Negotiate pricing with vendors to fulfill customer needs and to improve gross profit for UUSCO. Develop and maintain vendor relationships. Enter orders in the most cost effective and profitable way, such as drop ship, customer pick up, UPS and our truck. Offer suitable stock substitutes for non-stock products. Utilize Microsoft Office software, such as Word, Excel and the Internet to obtain any pertinent information regarding customer request.

Position Requirements:

Education, Knowledge, Training, Experience, Certification Minimum High School diploma or GED. Knowledge and experience in the electrical wholesale industry preferred. Competent in general computer use include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. Able and willing to access the necessary resources (for example, product catalogs, vendor web sites, literature, product presentations, training, department peers and other employees) to meet and exceed customer requirements.
