About the Role CharityAuctions.com helps nonprofits, schools, and community organizations raise more money through online charity auctions. Over 50,000 organizations trust our platform and we're looking for a mission-driven Sales Development Representative to help thousands more discover it. In this role, you'll focus exclusively on outbound outreach to nonprofits and schools that aren't yet using our platform. You'll introduce them to a tool that could generate tens of thousands of dollars for their cause — and earn commission every time one of them runs a successful event. This is sales with a purpose. You're not pushing a product. You're helping organizations fund the work that matters to them. What You'll Do Outbound prospecting Research and build targeted lists of nonprofits, schools, PTAs, booster clubs, and community organizations that run fundraising events Reach out via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce CharityAuctions.com and earn the right to a conversation Execute 100+ outbound touches per day with consistent, personalized follow-up Discovery and qualification Ask smart questions to understand each organization's fundraising goals, current challenges, and event calendar Qualify prospects based on fit and readiness, not everyone is a right-now opportunity, and knowing the difference is a skill Book demos or hand off warm leads to senior team members where applicable Relationship building Nurture longer-lead prospects, many nonprofits plan events 6-12 months out, and timing matters Stay in front of your pipeline with relevant, value-adding follow-up (not just "checking in") Build your reputation in the nonprofit sector as someone who genuinely helps organizations succeed Pipeline ownership Track every prospect, touchpoint, and outcome in CRM with discipline Report weekly numbers and bring ideas to improve your outreach messaging and conversion rates Who You Are You care about the nonprofit sector, whether from personal experience, volunteer work, or a genuine belief in mission-driven organizations. That empathy is your competitive edge on every call. You're a natural connector who builds trust quickly. Nonprofit leaders get pitched constantly, you know how to show up differently. You're disciplined and consistent. Outbound sales is a volume game with a craft component. You respect both. You're resilient without being robotic, you hear "no" and stay curious about why, then adjust. You're organized. Fundraising has seasons and cycles. You track your pipeline closely enough to know which conversations to prioritize each week. Requirements 1+ year of sales, fundraising, or community outreach experience Genuine interest in or experience with the nonprofit, education, or social impact sector Comfort with high-volume outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) CRM experience (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) Strong conversational skills, you can make a cold call feel warm Self-directed and accountable to a weekly activity and conversion number Compensation Base salary: $35,000 - $40,000 depending on experience On-target earnings (OTE): $60,000 - $70,000 total Commission paid for every organization that runs their first auction on the platform Bonus structure for volume milestones, the more organizations you bring on, the higher your per-deal rate No commission cap About CharityAuctions.com CharityAuctions.com is the leading online auction platform built specifically for nonprofits and schools.
