Sales Consultant Wilmette, IL 60091 From $20 an hour - Full-time From $20 an hour - Full-time Compensation This position also offers a commission-based structure, providing additional earning potential based on performance. Job Overview Our boutique tile showroom is looking for a friendly, energetic, organized team member to join our staff. In this role, you will be engaging with customers to understand their needs and guiding them towards selections that best meet their criteria and personal style. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and create an inviting atmosphere that encourages engagement. Actively listen to customer needs and offer selections tailored to their preferences. Develop a strong knowledge of tile lines including the features, maintenance requirements and benefits of various materials. Build and maintain relationships with clients. Assist in maintaining the sample library and updating showroom displays. Create job estimates and process customer invoices for projects using Quick books. Process and track orders. Receive and verify incoming orders. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key! Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Positive attitude, proactive approach, and eagerness to achieve goals Technical skills Basic computer literacy. Experience with Quick books, Power point and/or Canva is a plus but not required.
