We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Support Specialist for either our Menno Travel office in Goshen, IN or our Classic Travel office in Okemos, MI. The primary goal for this position is to support and assist the leisure travel sales team and maintain accurate documentation of client information and trip details.
Responsibilities include:
  • Answer direct inbound calls for all Next Travel branch offices and distribute or take messages
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers
  • Support leisure travel sales team throughout all aspects of the sales process, including building digital trip folders, maintaining accurate invoicing records, preparing final travel documents, and creating reminders to ensure that no steps are missed
  • Assist the leisure travel sales staff with general travel research
  • Manage corporate UPS account, create shipping labels, and drop off outgoing shipments
  • Assist Marketing Coordinator with vendor co-op projects such as client events, social campaigns, and email blasts
  • Regularly use a variety of industry specific software programs Qualifications include:
  • Prior experience working in an office, preferably with a multiple phone line system, and especially in a customer service-centered job
  • Ability to interact with all customers, employees, and vendors with a high degree of energy and positivity
  • Outstanding and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • In addition to a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, we are seeing a candidate who embraces the use of technology and enjoys learning new systems
  • Prior experience in a sales environment utilizing a CRM or database preferred
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
