Inside Sales Representative Material Handling Exchange (MHE)
  • Indianapolis, IN Join One of the Largest Material Handling Inventory Companies in the Nation Since 1989, Material Handling Exchange (MHE) has been a leader in new and used warehouse equipment solutions.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, MHE operates over 350,000 square feet of warehouse space locally, plus access to another 300,000+ square feet nationwide, filled with new and used pallet rack, conveyor, wire decking, shelving, and material handling equipment. What truly separates MHE from the competition is our inventory. We don't rely on other dealers' stock. We own and stock one of the largest inventories in the country, allowing us to ship most orders within 48 hours.
Our Daily Inventory Includes:
30,000+ new beams 15,000+ new uprights Thousands of wire decks Thousands of feet of conveyor Extensive new and used warehouse equipment inventory In addition to selling equipment, MHE also purchases surplus warehouse assets and entire facilities for cash. From rack systems and conveyor to forklifts and real estate, we provide complete warehouse solutions from start to finish. We're Looking for a Rockstar Inside Sales Representative This is a high-energy, high-opportunity sales role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants unlimited earning potential. The ideal candidate is motivated, competitive, organized, and relentless when it comes to closing business. If you're comfortable making outbound calls, building relationships, solving customer problems, and chasing commissions, we want to talk to you. This position offers a strong base salary plus uncapped commission potential. Responsibilities Generate new business through inbound leads and outbound cold calling/email campaigns Build and maintain relationships with customers and channel partners Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate warehouse solutions Quote projects and close sales opportunities Research accounts, identify decision makers, and create sales opportunities Maintain pipeline activity and customer communication within CRM Achieve monthly sales and activity goals Work collaboratively with operations, purchasing, and estimating teams What We're Looking For We hire attitude and work ethic first, but the following experience and skills are important: Preferred Skills & Qualifications Previous inside sales or business development experience Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas Strong phone presence and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with strong time-management skills Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook & Excel) Strong math and problem-solving skills CRM experience (Infusionsoft or similar platforms preferred) Typing speed of 45+ WPM preferred Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience Compensation & Benefits Base Salary + Uncapped Commission Expected earnings: $40,000
