This is a field-based role , not a desk job. You'll meet with homeowners, inspect chimney systems, identify problems, and recommend solutions that keep their homes safe. What a Typical Day Looks Like Your day starts at the shop before heading out to scheduled appointments. You'll inspect chimney and fireplace systems, talk with homeowners about what you find, and recommend the best solutions for their home. Some days you'll be sweeping chimneys, other days you'll be diagnosing problems or writing estimates. Most of your time is spent meeting homeowners, solving problems, and helping them protect their homes. Every job is different — and the more problems you solve, the more you earn. Responsibilities Inspect and diagnose chimney and fireplace systems Perform chimney sweeping and basic maintenance Climb roofs safely to access chimney systems Explain problems and solutions clearly to homeowners Provide estimates and recommend services Document inspections and completed work Stay current on chimney products and services Earn CSIA certification within 6 months Why Join Chimney Solutions Indiana?
