Sales Representative

Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Associates to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. As a Seasonal Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers while supporting store operations during peak seasons. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately and responsibly. Engage in merchandising activities, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, promoting upselling opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas to create an inviting atmosphere. Utilize effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Assist in training new staff members by sharing knowledge on store policies, procedures, and best practices. Handle cash transactions with precision while adhering to cash handling policies. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and stocking procedures is a plus. Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to take on additional responsibilities. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
