Job Title:
Account Coordinator Job Description The Account Coordinator / Inside Sales professional supports sales operations by managing quotes, orders, and project coordination while delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you act as a central liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to ensure accurate order execution, strong customer satisfaction, and sustained sales growth. Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of quotes and sales orders, including order entry, order fulfillment, and post-sale support. Provide accurate pricing for standard products and previously sold solutions in a timely manner. Support territory sales goals through proactive planning, forecasting, and consistent follow-up with customers and internal stakeholders. Prospect and assist in developing new customer accounts, contributing to new business growth for approximately 10-20% of the role. Maintain up-to-date CRM data, account records, and sales reports to support visibility and decision-making. Track order status, project milestones, and installation timelines to ensure on-time delivery and smooth implementation. Send order confirmations and acknowledgments to customers and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment. Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned accounts, handling inquiries, service issues, and warranty requests with professionalism and urgency. Coordinate closely with Operations, Finance, Service, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate execution of orders and projects. Participate in client calls and meetings to support sales efforts and strengthen customer relationships. Attend trade shows and occasional site visits as needed, with some travel required to support customer engagement and account growth. Essential Skills Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a sales or sales support capacity, such as inside sales or account coordination. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities. Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or order management systems and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong interest in developing a long-term career in sales, account management, or sales operations. Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction. Comfort with occasional travel for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits. Work Environment This is an onsite position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will have your own dedicated office area and collaborate closely with sales, operations, finance, service, and logistics teams in a professional business environment. The role involves regular computer-based work using Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems, as well as phone and video communication with customers and colleagues. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whitestown, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
