Full Job Description Business Development Associate Location:
Kansas City (Lenexa, KS HQ) | Full-Time | In-Office About the Job We are hiring a Business Development Associate who will be focused on outbound prospecting, cold calling, and appointment setting for their assigned Account Executives. This position plays a critical role in driving pipeline growth by initiating conversations with prospective clients across government, hospitality, and education sectors. What You'll Get Base Salary + Commission with Total Earning Potential of $45,000-$60,000 Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage available 401(k)/Roth retirement plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Life/AD&D and Supplemental Insurance Available Full-time, in-office, onsite role with a consistent schedule Structured training and sales coaching Clear path for growth into an Account Executive role Supportive team environment focused on development and success What You'll Do Make a high volume of outbound cold calls to prospective clients Identify, qualify, and generate new sales leads Set qualified appointments for Account Executives Research prospective customers using CRM tools, online resources, and databases Maintain and update prospect information within Salesforce or other CRM systems Communicate effectively with prospects to identify needs and introduce solutions Collaborate closely with Account Executives to build a strong sales pipeline Track activity, call outcomes, and performance metrics Maintain a positive, professional, and persistent approach to outreach Who We Are REMEDI8® is a national leader in passive fire protection and compliance solutions for healthcare and commercial facilities. What We're Looking For Tenacious, motivated individual who enjoys talking to Physical Requirements people and building relationships Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Comfortable making cold calls and initiating Frequent use of a computer, phone, and headset conversations Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing Strong verbal communication and listening skills Positive attitude with resilience to handle rejection Additional Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment Must be at least 21 years of age Coachable and open to feedback and development Must pass drug screen, criminal background check, and Reliable, organized, and accountable for performance driver's license check.
