We have an opportunity for an Inside Sales/Customer Support Specialist position for our Lenexa, KS branch. The right candidate will possess the following qualifications: Receives and handles requests from customers and distributors for price quotes, purchase orders, order adjustments, and order cancellations. Builds rapport with customers and works to ensure they receive excellent service. Uses computer database to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status. Provides pricing, delivery, and other order information to customers. Drafts purchase orders and invoices to submit to the accounting department. Maintains files of active orders and updates with changes to customer accounts or orders. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and ordering systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Industrial Inside Sales experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude helpful. Understands sense of urgency and the ability to resolve urgent matters promptly. Excellent organizational and customer service skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with fellow teammates and customers Experience answering phones, processing quotes and orders in database system (order entry) required. Outgoing with a positive attitude and professional appearance and demeanor Knowledge of the aggregate, manufacturing, industrial, or mining industries very helpful Occasionally needed to make deliveries to a customer(5%-10% of the time) Valid Driver License with a clean MVR Basic Forklift, shipping and receiving experience helpful PC computer skills - Microsoft Windows and Office required Must pass Drug Test, DOT Physical & Background Check This is an excellent opportunity to establish a long-term career with a team-oriented company.
