  • Serve as a confident, servant leader for the entire Sales Department — set the tone in the business office and elevate those around you
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of captive and third-party lenders; serve as the primary point of contact for lender communications, program updates, and tier optimization
  • Accurately rehash deals, submit to lenders for approval, negotiate terms, and make informed credit decisions
  • Guide customers through their purchase experience by educating them on limited manufacturer warranties, financing options, and additional products available to ensure the best ownership experience possible
  • Present a full menu of F&I products — VSC, GAP, and ancillary protections — with confidence and professionalism; handle objections with conversational facts
  • Over communication with the desk to maintain maximum profitability and collectability on all finance deals
  • Over awareness of CITs and their status with funding, with communication to the dealership office and GM if needed
  • Prepare and deliver all paperwork, contracts, and deal packages with complete and accurate documentation per lender requirements
  • Full compliance with all local, state, federal, and manufacturer guidelines is expected
  • Working with the GM, create F&I product awareness with sales staff and ensure proper customer handoffs
  • Maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position Job Requirements
  • Demonstrated confidence in presenting, negotiating, and closing F&I transactions
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive lender relationships
  • Strong team orientation — collaborative, positive, and accountable
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Must possess the ability to "close" and ask for the sale and follow through
  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
