Job Description

Business Development and Account Support Specialist - Smart Home Systems Simplicity - Smarter Homes. Simpler Living. About Simplicity Simplicity is a smart home integration firm focused on delivering reliable, well-designed systems for lighting, shading, audio/video, networking, and control. Since 2008, we've built our business around long-term relationships, thoughtful design, and consistent follow-through. We work closely with homeowners, builders, and designers to create systems that are simple to use and built to last. The Role We are looking for someone who can support business development with social media, client meetings, support our sales team and help drive the front end of our projects — guiding clients, supporting the sales process, and helping ensure every project starts the right way. This role sits between sales, design, and client communication . It's ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable working directly with clients in a detail-driven environment. What You'll Do Business Development Help brand awareness of Simplicity via Social Media platforms Look for more opptuniries to get the brand out into the area Foster relationships with strategic partners Client Guidance Participate in client meetings, walkthroughs, and discovery conversations Help translate client needs into clear system recommendations Communicate options in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way Sales Support Assist with proposals, scopes of work, and presentations Coordinate with internal team to ensure accuracy and consistency Track follow-ups, revisions, and project progression Relationship Building Build rapport with homeowners, builders, and designers Help maintain ongoing communication and set clear expectations Support efforts to generate repeat business and referrals What We're Looking For Strong communication skills and professional presence Highly organized with attention to detail Comfortable working with clients and managing multiple conversations Ability to learn technical systems and explain them simply Experience in sales support, construction, design, or AV/smart home is a plus Why Join Simplicity Established, owner-operated company since 2008 Focus on quality and long-term relationships over volume Collaborative team environment Clear opportunity to grow into a larger sales role Compensation Competitive base salary Performance-based incentives Growth opportunity as the company continues to expand
