https://sigmawash.us About the Opportunity Sigma Wash is looking for motivated, outgoing, and self-driven Door-to-Door Sales Representatives to help grow our customer base in the Kansas City Metro area. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for someone who is comfortable speaking with homeowners, introducing local services, generating interest, and producing qualified sales. This opportunity is best suited for someone who is confident working independently, comfortable with performance-based compensation, and interested in earning commission for completed sales. Contractors are responsible for working independently, representing the company professionally, accurately recording field activity, and following all applicable solicitation rules and customer protection requirements. Compensation Sales Representatives are compensated through a combination of a minimum earnings guarantee and commission.
Compensation includes:
Minimum earnings guarantee equal to applicable minimum wage for approved canvassing time 25% commission per qualifying sale Bonuses may be considered for high-performing contractors Commission is paid according to the company's written commission policy. To qualify for commission, a sale must meet company requirements, which may include accurate customer information, proper customer authorization, completed service, collected payment, and compliance with company policies. Commission may not be paid, or may be reversed, for canceled sales, refunded sales, invalid customer information, misrepresentation, nonpayment, or sales that do not meet company requirements. Canvassing Opportunities Contractors may accept available canvassing opportunities in the Kansas City Metro area. Canvassing opportunities are initially capped at up to 4 hours per day Contractors may choose whether to accept available canvassing opportunities Available opportunities may vary based on business needs, customer demand, weather, service area, and local solicitation rules Additional canvassing opportunities are not guaranteed Continued access to available canvassing opportunities may be based on production, quality, reliability, customer feedback, and compliance with company policies Sales Performance Target This is a performance-based sales opportunity.
The expected production target is:
1 qualifying sale per 4-hour canvassing period , or An average of 5 qualifying sales per 20 approved canvassing hours Performance may be reviewed based on completed sales, quality of customer interactions, accuracy of recorded activity, appointment quality, cancellation rate, refund rate, customer complaints, and compliance with company policies. The production target is used to determine continued eligibility for additional canvassing opportunities, bonuses, and future sales opportunities with the company. Responsibilities Speak with homeowners in the Kansas City Metro area Professionally introduce Sigma Wash and explain available services Identify potential customers who may benefit from our services Generate qualified leads, booked appointments, or completed sales Gather and record customer information, service details, and follow-up information through a company-approved digital method Use an online form, mobile form, digital sales tool, canvassing app, or similar method to record field activity and customer interaction details Clearly communicate pricing, service expectations, and next steps Accurately record customer authorization, service interest, appointment details, and sales-related information when applicable Follow all local solicitation rules, permit requirements, and no-soliciting restrictions Represent the company professionally and honestly at all times Avoid misleading claims, high-pressure tactics, or promises not approved by the company Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Comfortable talking to strangers face-to-face Self-motivated and able to work independently Positive, persistent, and professional Interested in commission-based sales income Reliable with strong follow-up habits Able to handle rejection and continue working Honest, respectful, and customer-focused Comfortable working toward sales production targets Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, or iPad while in the field Able to accurately enter customer information and field activity into a digital form, mobile tool, canvassing app, or similar system Experienced in door-to-door sales, canvassing, home services, roofing, pest control, lawn care, solar, security, telecom, or appointment setting is a plus, but not required Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation Must have a smartphone, tablet, or iPad capable of accessing web-based forms, customer intake forms, scheduling tools, digital sales tools, or electronic documents while in the field Must have reliable mobile data or internet access while working in the field Must be able to communicate clearly with homeowners Must be able to accurately record sales activity, customer information, and customer interaction outcomes using a company-approved digital method Must be willing to work as a 1099 independent contractor Must comply with all applicable city, county, state, and federal rules related to door-to-door sales and solicitation Independent Contractor Notice This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity , not W-2 employment. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, transportation, mobile device, data service, equipment, insurance, and ordinary business expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing. Contractors control their own methods, availability, and whether to accept available canvassing opportunities, subject to legal compliance, customer requirements, accurate reporting, and company policies regarding honesty, service accuracy, customer protection, and brand representation.
