Sales Representative

Ashley in Salina, KS is family owned and operated by the Miller's of Claflin. Being the largest furniture store in central Kansas, we are looking to add to our team! Our company is growing and expanding, therefore we are searching for a full-time sales representative to help us assist our ever growing customer base! Daily duties include, but are not limited to: Processing sales orders, greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service. Applicants will have the opportunity to sell at multiple showrooms at our 3 locations in Salina. Cleaning and maintaining the showroom and keeping displays fresh and inviting is also required. Sales background is encouraged, but not required! We will train the right candidate. Applicants must be self-motivated, reliable, sociable, outgoing, positive, and teachable. Compensation is hourly wage or commission (whichever is greater). Annual salary for full-time applicants will range from $50,000-$100,000. Applicants must be able to work weekends. Responsibilities Include:

Manage incoming calls and customers Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies Take the extra mile to engage customers Skills Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively High school degree or equivalent
