In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our customer base, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service in the roofing industry. Your enthusiasm for sales combined with your technical knowledge will help homeowners and businesses make informed decisions about their roofing needs. Duties Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including cold calling, door-to-door visits, and community networking to generate leads and expand territory coverage Conduct product demonstrations and detailed roof assessments to educate customers on options and benefits Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing customer service, follow-up consultations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales potential Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase market share within assigned territories Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet company standards Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that attract new customers and retain existing ones Requirements Proven experience in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or technical sales within the construction or home improvement industries preferred Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and lead generation activities effectively Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to build trust and close deals confidently Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing sales pipelines and customer data Ability to conduct product demos, analyze customer needs, and recommend suitable roofing solutions Demonstrated success in cold calling, direct sales, inside/outside sales strategies, and upselling techniques Knowledge of roofing materials, installation processes, or related technology sales is a plus but not required Join us as a Roofing Sales Representative and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality solutions while advancing your career in a thriving industry.
