• Design Consultant & Brand Ambassador Lexington & Central Kentucky Indigo Blinds & Shades is expanding in Lexington and Central Kentucky and is looking for a Design Consultant specializing in custom window treatments and outdoor shade solutions.

This is a high-earning full commission role working with homeowners, builders, and designers to create beautiful, functional living spaces both inside and out. You will provide in-home consultations for: Custom window treatments (blinds/shades/shutters/drapery) Motorized shades & smart home solutions SunSetter retractable awnings and screens Exterior solar shades and outdoor drapery Why This Opportunity is

Lead Sources Include:

• Costco Shop-at-Home (SAH) Program
• Mandatory Monthly Costco Roadshows (3 days on average)

Self-Generated Opportunities:

We are looking for someone motivated to also build their own pipeline through: Builder relationships Interior designers Realtors Remodeling contractors Architects Outdoor living specialists Residential referrals/ Realtors The most successful consultants combine company leads with relationship-driven business development.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-home design consultations throughout the Lexington/ Central Kentucky area Measure windows and outdoor spaces accurately Design interior solutions using blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery Present SunSetter awnings, retractable screens, and exterior shading options Educate homeowners on motorization and smart home integration Provide professional design recommendations and product expertise Prepare quotes and manage projects through installation Collaborate with Indigo's installation team to ensure excellent results Build relationships with builders, designers, and repeat clients

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who combines design sensibility with strong communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

Interior design, home improvement, realtor, or window treatment experience is helpful but not required Strong customer service and sales skills Ability to measure spaces accurately Self-motivated and organized Comfortable working in clients' homes/ place of business Interest in architecture, design, current interior design trends, and outdoor living Must have a reliable vehicle Background checks are required

Compensation Structure:

Full Commission Position Commission range: 8%

• 12% per closed project Commission increases based on: Sales volume Self-generated leads Builder / designer partnerships

Typical Earnings:

Performance Level Annual Earnings Entry Level $50K

• $70K Established Consultant $90K
• $140K Top Performer $150K+ Because Indigo provides Costco SAH and SunSetter leads, high income potential exists much faster than traditional design sales roles.

Indigo Blinds & Shades is an independent locally owned company. This position is employed by Indigo Blinds & Shades and is not a position with Costco, Graber, or SunSetter. Costco Shop at Home and SunSetter direct Leads are lead-generation partnerships provided to qualifying independent dealers.
